Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the war against terrorism rendered great scarifies and the government would press into services all resources to bring peace and prosperity in the province.
Prime Minister Gilani was speaking to the President of the Pakistan People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Provincial Health Minister Syed Zahir Ali Shah at the PM House.
Gilani said he would visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the near future to launch public welfare projects including Benazir Hospital and Children Hospital Complex projects.
PM said the government would undertake a number of mega projects like the Chashma uplift canal and the Hassanabdal-Mansehra Expressway to accelerate the pace of development in the province.
He said the development of infrastructure projects would generate employment and economic activity.
Gilani asked the party leader of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mobilize the party workers for solving public’s problems. He stressed upon the party leadership to keep close liaison with the masses.
Syed Zahir Ali Shah apprised Prime Minister Gilani about organizational affairs and political matters of the party. SANA
