Pak-India Foreign Secretary talks to resolve outstanding issues: PM Gilani

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Friday said the Pakistan-India Foreign  Secretary level talks were a step towards resolution of all outstanding issues between the two countries. Talking to Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ms. Hina Rabbani Khan and President AJK Raja Zulfqarnain Khan here at the PM House, the Prime Minister said the talks were manifestation of the resolve of the government for peaceful co-existence in the region.Gilani said it was the wish of the Shaheeds Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to make all possible efforts for the solution of Kashmir issue according to the wishes of its people.

The Prime Minister reiterated commitment of his government for the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed the resolve to increase the pace of work on reconstruction in the earthquake affected areas. He also acknowledged the international support for various projects.
He said the government has made special allocation for ERRA in the current budget and expects positive results at the earliest.
Raja Zulqarnain apprised the Prime Minister about the development activities in AJK. Barrister Sultan Mehmood President, PPP AJK and Ch. Manzoor former MNA, were also present during the meeting. APP
