ISLAMABAD: Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Chaudhry Nisar
has requested Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to
nominate a representative to give reply to audit objections in respect
of apex court.
PAC secretariat sources told Chaudhry Nisar
while citing to article of the constitution, legal points and
references in his letter had said earlier Supreme Court (SC) registrar
appeared before PAC to give reply to audit objections. Therefore, SC is
requested to nominate its representative to appear before PAC otherwise
many legal points will remain unanswered rendering PAC report
incomplete. It is legal obligation of PAC to complete its report and
present before National Assembly. Online
