Negative politics could harm country: President Zardari


Islamabad : President Asif Zardari has said negative politics and controversial statements could harm the country at this juncture as Pakistan is passing through most crucial time in the history urging unity among the whole nation is the need of hour to drag out the homeland from crises.

According to sources President was talking with Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani who called him on at Aiwan-e-Sadar on Tuesday.
On the occasion Prime Minister said that the formation of impartial and authoritative committee on Abbottabad episode would be ensured at any cost under the light of resolution adopted by joint session of parliament. Few names for members of the proposed commission also came under discussion. Both the leaders agreed on to constitute it forthwith.
Sources told Online that during meeting Prime Minister apprised the President about the matters relating to the upcoming budget ,decisions of defence committee of cabinet, ongoing consultation process with different political parties and transfer of ministries to provinces under 18th amendment were also discussed.
Prime Minister also told the President about the progress made so far in government’s efforts to remove the apprehensions of coalition parents on federal budget and devolution of power to the provinces. Online
