Nawaz Sharif rejects govt commission for Abbotabad incident probe

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif said that his party rejects the commission set up on the Abbotabad incident as it was announced without the consultation of the opposition leader.

Addressing an election rally here on Thursday he said there are other parties contesting elections here but what will they deliver to the Kashmiri people, whether the same as that they have done in Pakistan, Nawaz questioned.
People responsible for action against the culprits have become their guardians, I don’t see any government in Pakistan, he observed. He warned the Kashmiri people not to be influenced by the politics of hypocrisy, deceitfulness and mere slogans.
He said today corrupt people are being appointed in institutions and there is corruption of over Rs. 500 billion in various public sector corporations of the country which is more than the US aid to Pakistan through Kerry-Lugar bill.
He said that the day and night bazaars are set up in Islamabad and biddings are given for committing the corruption in the country.
He said we won’t allow any rigging in polls and want to inform all those making plans of rigging that be cautious of your plans. PML-N would not allow any rigging plans to be implemented, Nawaz vowed.
He said we know the will of Kashmiri people has not been respected in the past. He said Kashmiri people must know who makes governments in Kashmir and who make coups, this is amusing.
He said we are aware of the changes being made in the voter lists and would make sure that no rigging is carried out through these tactics. Today people of the valley are not alone in their cause of justice but Nawaz Sharif and PML-N is with them, he said.
He said country is facing severe economic crisis as GDP of the country has been reached at its worst level and budget deficit has reached to Rs.10 trillion figure while foreign loans are touching Rs. 6o billion dollars mark. Load shedding and economic crisis is further worsening, forcing industries to shut down thus resulting in further unemployment in the country.
Rising inflation is making people suffer making hand to mouth. Today 70.5 million Pakistanis are living below the line of poverty, which is unprecedented.
He said following the nuclear tests by the India their attitude was touching sky and cabinet members of Vajpayee and his team members were issuing derogatory statements against Pakistan but when we did the same Vajpayee was forced to negotiations with Pakistan and himself came to Pakistan and said that India want to solve all issues with Pakistan through talks.
He said they had told Vajpayee that if India intended to do some thing in war filed Pakistan was ready for that but Indian prime minister agreed to solve the problems including the dispute of Jammu Kashmir through negotiations.
He said the entire peace process was disturbed by the misadventure in Kargill by Pervez Musharraf.
Nawaz said we would wait the outcome of the commission made on the Saleem Shahzad killing. Supreme Court verdict regarding the enquiry about the money in Swiss accounts is made fun off, he said, questioning that the money present in Swiss banks is of whom ownership, adding that the orders of the Supreme Court are being violated by the government
He said that the motorway would be constructed from Rawalakot to Islamabad and Muzaffarabad to LOC. SANA
