Islamabad : A Pakistani Air Force (PAF) jet fighter crashed Tuesday afternoon in the country's Punjab province, Xinhua reported citing a local TV channel Express.
The accident occurred in Kot Shakir area of Pakistan's Jhang district when a PAF Mirage combat aircraft was on a routine training flight. The pilot lost control following some technical snag, the report quoted a PAF official as saying.
The pilot ejected safely before the plane crashed in a desert area of the district, said the official. IANS
