Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Thursday that Pakistan believes
in peaceful co-existence and desires to strengthen friendly relations with the global community in the interest of international peace and prosperity. Pakistan,
as a frontline state against terrorism is confronting the enemies of
entire humanity, he said and added that the sacrifices being rendered
by Pakistan, need to be supplemented by international support in order to eliminate the menace of terrorism.The Prime Minister was talking to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar and the Secretary Foreign Affairs,Salman Bashir here at the Prime Minister’s House.
Earlier, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Secretary Foreign Affairs apprised the Prime Minister on the international response to security challenges being faced by Pakistan in confronting extremism and terrorism.
