NOWSHERA: Driver was killed and four were injured when three NATO
oil tankers collided with each other on Nowshera-Peshawar G.T. Road
while overtaking from the wrong side hereon Thursday.
In the
early morning, three NATO oil tankers PLT-264, PLR-434 and PLS-936
collided due to over speeding and overtaking, on Thursday.
Resultantly,
the driver Muhammad Ijaz S/O Mola Bakhsh of oil tanker PLT-264,
resident of Liyari(Karachi), died at the spot whereas four others
suffered severe injuries. Two of the tankers were completely destroyed
and thousands liters of oil spilled over the G.T. Road.
The
dead body and four injured were pulled out of the tankers by cutting
oil tankers, However strangely, the injured ran away while they were
being removed from the incident place to the hospital.
Highway
Police shut down highway for all types of the traffic. Fire brigade has
been called due to the impending danger of fire.
