Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani met with six “Make A Wish”children at the General Headquarters, Rawalpindi. According
to Make a Wish Foundation press release here Thursday, these ailing
children from different provinces were brought to GHQ to meet the Army
Chief.These
children are suffering from life threatening medical conditions and as
per their most cherished wishes they wanted to be soldiers of Pak Army.
Make A
Wish Pakistan conveyed their wishes to the Army Chief and on his
personal initiative, these children were inducted in the Pak Army for a
day.
The meeting was also attended by
D.G, ISPR Major General Athar Abbas and Founding President, Ishtiaq Baig
who thanked the Army Chief for granting their wishes of becoming soldiers.
