Two people were killed Tuesday in a blast at a oil refinery in southern Iran,
Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was
visiting the Abadan refinery to inaugurate a gasoline project. The
refinery is in the port city of Abadan. The president was safe.
The blast was caused by a gas leak. Mehr news agency had earlier reported that 22 workers were injured. IANS
