ISLAMABAD: Meeting of Parliamentary Committee on National Security has been summoned to meet on April 19 for devising a new strategy against US drone attacks in tribal areas.
According to reliable sources, the meeting would be chaired by Committee chairman Raza Rabbani in which matters related to national security would be reviewed and discussed.
State Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has also been summoned to attend the meeting.
The incamera meeting would devise a strategy regarding US drone attacks on Pakistani areas despite repeated protest and reaction by the government and army. After the finalization of unanimous strategy it would be tabled in parliament for approval.
The meeting would also look into reason as to why the previous approved resolutions were not implemented.
Sources further said that the meeting has been summoned on the insistence of committee members
