Rehman Malik, Mashallah Shakiri discuss bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD : Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mashallah Shakiri Saturday called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed bilateral relations besides various matters related to Pak-Iran border in a very cordial atmosphere.According to a press release issued by the Interior Ministry, the Minister said that Pakistan always gives importance to relations with brotherly country Iran and “we want to strengthen bilateral relations between both the brotherly counties further”.The ambassador also reciprocated and said Iran also gives great importance to Pakistan and all efforts would be made to enhance bilateral relations between both the neighbourly and brotherly countries.
They discussed the recent visit of Rehman Malik to Iran and forth-coming visit of Iranian Interior Minister Mustafa Muhammad Nijar to Pakistan.
Shakiri said that soon Iranian Interior Minister will visit Pakistan which will help further improve bilateral ties.
The ambassador also reciprocated and said Iran also gives great importance to Pakistan and all efforts would be made to enhance bilateral relations between both the neighbourly and brotherly countries. APP
