Karachi : A round table conference of all political and religious parties along with the heads of armed forces and top brass of national security should be called to address the national issue of drone attacks,
said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain in a statement issued from his party’s international secretariat in London on Friday.Condemning US drone attacks in North Wazirstan that killed women and children, Hussain said the attacks are actually on Pakistan’s sovereignty.Extending condolences to the aggrieved families, he said country’s civil and military leadership should come up with a final decision to tackle the curse of drone attacks that has so far preyed many innocent people.MQM chief also suggested authorities to seek public’s opinion on drone attacks and hold a referendum in this regard.He appealed to all political and religious parties of the country to keep aside their differences and gather on a platform.
