KARACHI : 15 persons died and 38 were left injured when a hand grenade was hurled at gamblers in Ghas Mandi here on Thursday. Edhi Information and Police sources told APP that the blast left total 15 including one Abdul Rauf dead and 38 other wounded.An official of Sindh Health Ministry said that Sindh Health Minister, Dr. Sagheer Ahmed has declared the emergency in Civil and Abbasi Shaheed hospitals and has directed to provide proper medical cover to the injured.The blast occurred when two unknown motorcycle riders hurled a hand grenade near a Club at Ghas Mandi areas and escaped.
Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Karachi to submit a report about the incident after a probe is conducted.
The Sindh CM has also directed to take steps to maintain law and order in the city and injured of the blast be provide betterment medical treatment. APP
