Karachi : 4 including a woman killed in different firing incidents

KARACHI : At least four people including a woman were killed and two others injured in different incidents on Tuesday in Metropolis, police said.In first incident a man was found shot dead in Gulistan-e-Jahuar area in the wee hours of Tuesday,
police said.A duty officer at Gulistan-e-Jahuar Police Station Sub Inspector Mohammad Shariff said the bullet-riddled body of a man was found in Safi Home in Block II area of Gulistan-e-Jahuar. It was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities. SI added that the victim was shot a single bullet at his head and his identity was yet to be ascertained.The body was later moved to Edhi Morgue for want of identification. Separately a woman was found shot dead near Malir Naddi (River) in the limits of Shah Latif Police Station, police said.In-charge Khaldabad Police Post Aijaz Lodhi said that four days old bullet-riddled body of a young woman stated to be in her early twenties was found near Murghi Khana in Malir area. It was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.   The victim was shot thrice and her identity was yet to be ascertained.The police after completing medico-legal formalities shifted the body to Edhi Morgue for want of identification.Separately a man identified as Arsalan son of Hussain Khan mysteriously received bullet injuries at his hand in Alfalah Society in the limits of Alfalah Police Station. He was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medical treatment.In another incident Sub Inspector Tatheer Hussain received a single bullet in his leg during a fight with his neighborer in Post Office Society in Gulistan-e-Jahuar area. A duty officer at Sachal Police Station ASI Nadir said that the incident occurred during a clash between two groups. He said that the neighborer of Tatheer Hussain after some arguments opened fire onhim. As a result he received a single bullet wound at his leg and was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medical treatment.He said that further probe was underway.Separately two young men were found shot dead in Saudabad area of Malir, police said.An official at Saudabad Police Station said that the bodies of two young men stated to be in their early twenties were found near Ameen Society near Railway tracks in Saudabad area. He said that hands and feet of the victims were tied with a rope which suggested that they were shot dead before being kidnapped. The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.The identity of the victims was yet to be ascertained.  PPI
