US govt has no link with Congress resolution on Balochistan: Hina Rabbani

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that US government has no concern regarding the presentation of resolution on Balochistan in US Congress, adding that pushing US government into the matter is not right.

She said that parliament will decide to restore the NATO supply, adding that Pakistan wants reformation of cricket relations with India and Indian cricket board has also shown positive response on this.
Talking to media persons in Abu Dhabi, she said that Pak-India leadership and cricket boards are interested to hold cricket series between the two teams but date schedule is the problem.
She said that Afghan people and government had to play their role instead of foreign forces to resolve the Afghan issue, adding that Pakistan would support any reconciliation process owned and led by Afghan leadership. She also insisted that there is a need of negotiation among all the Afghan groups.
She said that the resolution in US Congress was an individual matter, adding that the US government had no need to explain it but the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has explained it.
She said that Hilary Clinton told her that they can not stop the resolution if some one presents in the parliament Pakistan. Hina Rabbani said that US government reputedly said that it is internal matter of Pakistan and US policy on this issue would remain same.
She said that Pakistan certainly has some issues with US, which should be resolved, adding that Pakistan took stand on the issues where it should have taken the stand in relations with US.
She said that the current security situation of Pakistan is better than 2008 and 2009. SANA
