The United States State Department has said that President Asif Ali Zardari has no life threat in Pakistan.
The spokesperson of State Department Victoria Nuland in a press
briefing said that the State Department is not aware of the statement of
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani regarding the life threat to the
President Asif Ali Zardari.
She said that President Asif Ali Zardari had been to Dubai due to
illness, adding the State Department is informed about the shifting of
President Asif Ali Zardari from hospital to home.
It is worth mentioning here that the State Department in a statement
issued recently had said that US did not have concerns over the
political change in Pakistan. SANA
