ISLAMABAD: Low paid government employees in sectors G-6 and G-7 have
protested against severe load shedding saying they have been made
victims while posh areas stand exempted from long hours of load shedding
.

are residing in various sectors including sector G-6, G-7 but are
heavily suffering from the gas load shedding. Our sectors are populated
by lower middle class, small traders, lower middle class therefore,
these sectors are worst affected areas in gas load shedding hours", said
a group of class four employees from different government departments.
" Look at the posh areas. They stand exempted as no such long
hours load shedding is being observed posh sectors. Only the
discriminatory treatment is being given to us in load shedding , said a
vendor.
"We can not afford to purchase chappatis from market
daily as our limited salary parameters don’t allow us such luxurious
spending", said Ali Akbar, a telephone attendant in some private
company.

government to take immediate steps to ensure supply of gas with
