MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday
said that he knows how to contest, “I am independent man and should
finish family politics from Pakistan, like other institutions of the
country media is also given the money.’’
He expressed these
views while addressing a public rally at the Railway Ground in Mardan
district and in a press conference at the residence of former police
chief Fayaz Khan Toru.
Vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi,
provincial organizer Asad Qaiser, district organizer Atif Khan, Former
federal minister and Awami National Party’s estranged MNA Khwaja
Muhammad Khan Hoti also addressed the public rally. Former federal
minister Nawabzada Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti along with his supporters
announced to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on the occasion and also
announced to resign from the National Assembly seat.
Imran Khan
said that majority of the people of Pakistan don’t pay tax because they
know that tax is stolen in the country. He added that the people would
start paying their tax when they know that their tax has been spent on
right place.
He further said that when PTI will come into power
it will change Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state where education
and justice would be free for poor people and jobless people will be
given unemployment benefits and allowances and will not collect alms.
He
further said that majority of the leaders of Pakistan wealth and
property is in foreign countries. “My every thing is in Pakistan” he
added.
Former foreign minister and vice chairman PTI Shah
Mehmood Qureshi also addressed the gathering. He said Pakistan was
divided on December 16 due to the incapable rulers and Pakistan divided
and Bangladesh came into being and now Pakistan is again passing through
a critical condition due to the corrupt rulers.
He added that
today Pakistan is passing through critical condition. He further said
that Prime Minister said that conspiracies are continued against the
democracy. Who are doing the conspiracies against the democracy, he
questioned. The PTI is with democracy and with the poor people of the
country.
Before the public meeting Nawabzada Nasurullah Khan of
Toru along with his cousins and family announced to join PTI in a press
conference at the residence of former police chief Fayaz Khan Toru. Online
