DUBAI: The leader of MQM, Altaf Hussain made a phone call to Interior
Minister Rehman Malik and discussed important national issues including
political situation especially the rapidly changing scenario of the
country.
Altaf Hussain ensured Rehman Malik that MQM would fully
cooperate PPP government for strengthening democracy and survival of
parliament and system. Altaf also inquired about the health of President
Asif Zardari and prayed Almighty Allah to bestow recovery and courage
to frustrate the anti democratic elements.
Earlier, Interior
Minister Rehman Malik called on Deputy Prime Minister and Interior
Minister of UAE Sheikh Saif Bin Zaid Al-Nahyan. The meeting was held
in very cordial atmosphere in which bilateral relations and matters of
mutual interests were discussed.
During the meeting the
extradition treaty of the prisoners was finalized between the both
countries . In this connection a delegation of UAE would visit Pakistan
soon to further negotiate the deal.
Rehman Malik said on the
occasion that PAK and UAE are tied in a religious and cultural bond as
both countries enjoyed fairly good relations. He said that Pakistan
