Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani has said that the Pak-China military cooperation is not against any country and it will create stability in the region.
He said that Pakistan has sharing intelligence information with China
against the terrorists in China and the defence of China is like
defence of Pakistan, he added.
This he said while talking to media after visiting the Pak-China
military exercises at Jehlum along with Chinese Deputy Chief of Staff
General Hoshu Bean on Thursday.
General Hoshu Bean on the occasion said that the friendship with
Pakistan is consisted of several years and it would be further
strengthened, adding that these military exercises will extend the
friendship between Pakistan and China; meanwhile he said that terrorism
is the combine issue and it will be tackled jointly by both countries.
General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani has said that the security of China is
considered as security of Pakistan, adding that joint Pak-China
exercises are not against any country and Pakistan is exchanging secret
information with China against the terrorists; meanwhile he said that
Pakistan is talking joint action with China against the terrorists of
ETMI.
He said that the military exercise further polished the preparations
and expertise of military, while on the occasion the special forces of
both countries showed practical professional expertise. SANA
