President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif has said
that the people of Pakistan are his asset, adding that media should
stop the way of those who are trying to come forward by using stunt of
mudslinging against others.
This he said while addressing the ceremony of distributing keys under Yellow Cab Scheme at Alhambra Hall here on Thursday.
He said that in the first phase of yellow cab scheme 20 thousand
people would be given the keys of yellow cabs, adding that the
government of Punjab got the cabs with a discount of 48 thousand from
the market and save 0.96 million rupees, adding that if the federal
government had supported the Punjab government the number of yellow cab
taxis could be large than the present one.
He said those have not succeeded to get taxis this year they would be
given taxis next year and this process would continue in coming years.
He said Allah has given two hands for struggle to earn not for
begging but the government is busy in begging, adding that when the
province of Sindh was affected by floods the government started begging
from foreign countries, adding that he told the government that the
government has the resources to fulfill the need of flood-affectees but
begging becomes our habit now and it would be removed now.
He said that his 0.11 million rupees are lying with government that is not pay by the government from last eight years.
He said during his seven years exile from the country nobody asked
him how he was and how his life was going on, either he had something to
eat or not.
He said moving to Supreme Court against secret memo is not his
personal interest but he move to Supreme Court for the interest of
nation to make the facts public after investigation.
He said that my agenda is to restore the lost honor of Pakistan,
adding that the skilled male and female persons would prepare themselves
and the he would provide soft loans for business after coming into
power.
He said that Lord Nazir Ahmad has served a lot for the Kashmir cause,
adding that suspending his citizenship of Azad Kashmir by AJK
government would be great injustice. SANA
