NATO supply from Pak remained suspended on third day

Following the attack by the NATO on Salala Check post the supply of various items to the NATO forces from Quetta and Chaman route remained closed for the third day on Monday.

The containers and oil tankers supplying items and fuel to the NATO forces are parked in Quetta and other parts of the province.
There are long queues of containers on Pak-Afghan border in Chaman city. To cope with the situation and to meet any unpleasant incident the law enforcement agencies have deployed security personnel in the area.
Various transport companies have directed the drivers of NATO supply vehicles to return to Karachi. On the other hand the NATO supply vehicles plying between Khyber Agency and Afghanistan had returned to Punjab. On the directives of the provincial government four terminals of the vehicles supplying to NATO forces have been closed at Nosherah. Three hundred vehicles have been returned to Punjab province.
All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association has decided to completely stop the oil supply to the NATO forces in Afghanistan. General Secretary of the Association Nawab Sher Afridi chaired a meeting which decided that till a complete explanation from the United Nations and full satisfaction of the Security organizations of Pakistan about the NATO attack on Salala check post, each sort of supply will remain suspended.
