Hand behind memo should be exposed: Aitzaz Ahsan

Senior lawyer, PPP leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said that a chance should be given to Hussain Haqqani to present stance before competent forum on memo issue, adding that the probe of the matter should be completed and responsible should come on the scene.

Talking to media in Supreme Court Aitzaz said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is emerging as third political force which is good sign for democratic system of the country, adding that the presence of PTI would provide third option for voters in the country. The joining PTI by former foreign minister Shah Mehmood is a good sign for PTI.
He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is a game, adding that why today Qureshi is looking destabilized country in the presence of President Asif Ali Zardari. Qureshi has leveled serious allegations over President, but he served as foreign minister for a long time but he did not felt any danger of president, Aitzaz said.
Replying to a question Aitzaz said that no one can become Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto by using his style of addressing.
Talking on memo issue he said that there should not be any media trail of any personality. He rejected the news of meeting with Haqqani, adding that Haqqani has come to the country and decided to face all investigations on memo issue so he should be given a chance to tell his stance.
Aitzaz said that a person, who has leveled the allegations in memo issue, should provide evidences, adding that it has been proved that a document has been sent through Mansoor Aitzaz via General Jim john to Mick Mullen.
What were the contents of that document which was without any signatures, who directed to write that document and who is the behind of that memo, these questioned should be answered, Aitzaz said.
Aitzaz said that there is no need of any FIR during departmental and parliamentary inquiry, and this matter should be probed by parliamentary committee or any court.
Replying to a question he said that all decisions should be implemented and government has implemented all decision of the court. SANA
