LONDON: Former Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza reportedly
contacted Scotland Yard on Wednesday and made an offer to share his
evidence regarding assassination of MQM leader Imran Farooq in London.
According
to reports, Mirza approached senior officials of local police and
talked about sharing of evidence on Farooq’s murder.
Earlier,
speaking to newsmen at Heathrow Airport, he said his visit was aimed at
sharing evidence of Imran Farooq’s murder with London police.
He, however, refused to divulge more details about the evidence, fearing it could be tampered.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjil Memon and two others MPAs were also seen with Zulfikar Mirza.
Memon told newsmen that he would return to the country on Thursday. Online
