Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar has said that if Pakistani Ambassador
to US Hussain Haqqani found guilty in secret memo issue which was
written to Mike Mullen then the matter would be decided by Prime
Minister.
Talking to media persons he said that Ambassador comes under the
directives of prime mister and he could not be sacked without
justification and after inquiry action would be taken against him if
found guilty. If Haqqani wrote this secret letter then president is not
involved in this conspiracy. He said that Mansoor Ijaz is a conspirator
and he did these things in the past too.
Ahmad Mukhtar said that if Nawaz Sharif wants to take the issue
before Supreme Court then it is his right. He said that the involvement
of intelligence agencies in politics is not right and if government
would be removed through rallies then no system may function in the
country.
He further said that he does not say that the US has made the
respective conspiracy over memo issue and those parties make
conspiracies who take interest in any matter. If US has interest then it
may be involved in it.
Regarding the possible military intervention in the country, he said
that there is no chances of army take over. He said that in his thinking
there not powers present which are e trying to play their role to
destabilize the government and disintegrate the country.
Replying to a question defence minister said that situation will come
out after the clarification of Hussain Haqqani about the memo. He said
that let the Haqqani to answer before the public over this controversial
memo.
Ch Mukhtar said that if media termed the previous rally of Imran Khan
in Lahore successful then agencies are not behind the politics and they
could not intervene in politics. If Nawaz Sharif has target to
destabilize the government while organizing rallies then our target is
to save the government as People party may also conduct rallies and
these actions may not support the democratic process. Government handled
every issue and the coming days are tough for politics. SANA
