Judges should see law, not faces while making judgments: CJ LHC

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed said that judges should see law not faces while making judgments.

While addressing lower courts’ judges in Lahore, he said that they are responsible for lives and property of people.
It doesn’t mean that I should stand with a gun outside the court. If Punjab police cannot protect judges, this responsibility would be delegated to any other force, he asserted.
He asked the judges that if they were fond of taking a car from DPO, they should join police department.
He made it clear that 15-year-old policy regarding transfer of judges is not acceptable, it would be changed, he concluded. SANA
