Bazm-e-Paigham arranges ‘Azam Walk” on International Children Day

Bazm-e-Paigham has arranged “Azam Walk” on the eve of International Children Day in federal capital Islamabad on Sunday. Hundreds of girls and boys students of various schools participated in walk who were holding placards and banners.

Addressing to the walk President Bazm-e-Paigham Noor-ul-Bashar said that children of the country have been ignored while making policies, adding that the protection of rights of children is collective responsibility of the society. He said that Islam has given guarantee of complete protection of children because the future of the nation always remains related to the children. State is bound to take concrete steps for the welfare of the children.
Meanwhile, participant kids demanded of provision of free education in view of 18th constitutional amendment.
Walk started from China Chowk and reached at National Police mess where the children passed a resolution unanimously demanding that all children of the entire world should be provided basic necessities including shelter, health and education.
They demanded of United Nations to take steps for restoration of peace in the world for the betterment of the children and save the society.
Participants appreciated the institutions striving for the betterment of the children. Director Bazm-e-Paigham and area manager of non governmental organization Numair Hussain Siddiqui also addressed the walk. SANA
