ISLAMABAD: The Lecturers of Federal Government Postgraduate College
of Commerce H-8/4 For Men are on strike since last month and have
demanded upgradation of their scale.
They are boycotting the
classes for last month and have demanded upgradation of their scale
through Time Scale Promotion Formula (TSPF).
The students have to face lot of problems due to the strike.
Talking
to this news agency the students said that their precious time is
wasted due to the ongoing Lecturer’s strike and have demanded of the
concerned authorities to look into this matter.
Upgradation of
teachers was the part of Teachers Package announced last year and even a
single clause of the teachers’ package, including abolition of evening
shifts, teachers’ upgradation and merger of federal government
institutes into model setup has not been fully implemented yet. Online
