ISLAMABAD: Black Day would be observed today (Wednesday) under the
aegis of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) to mark ousting of former
Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif by General (Retd) Pervez Musharaf on
12th October in 1999.
In this connection, protests, rallies and
demonstrations would be held around the country including south Punjab.
The party workers would tie black stripes on knees to participate in the
protest rallies.
Black flags would be hoisted on the party’s
provincial, district and zonal offices. Chief Minister Punjab Mian
Shahbaz Sharif would address to the central party leaders in this regard
while Mian Nawaz Sharif would address to the protest rallies in hub
