Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that latest increase
in the petroleum products and electricity load shedding is the result
of the massive corruption and luxuries of the government, adding that
he is seeing the bloody revolution at the door of the country.
He said that the massive load shedding of electricity in Lahore and
Punjab is the big conspiracy against the efforts done by the Punjab
government to overcome dengue fever, adding that I appeal Prime
Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take action against the load
shedding being observed in Punjab for 14 hours a day.
Talking to media persons during the awareness campaign against
dengue, Shahbaz Sharif said that the costly machines which were
exported from the foreign countries to overcome the dengue epidemic are
being gutted due to massive load shedding.
He said that thousands lives have been saved with the blessings of
Almighty Allah and with the efforts of the doctors and nurses, adding
that the efforts of doctors who are working day and night in the
service of the patents should be appreciated so that they could work
,more vigorously, adding that the media is playing very vital role for
creating awareness in masses against dengue but it is not appreciating
the efforts of doctors who are working day and night in the service of
the suffering humanity.
Shahbaz said that the awareness campaign is more important than the
treatment of the disease, adding that a team of doctors of Indonesia
has been reached in Lahore and I have meeting with the team and know
this team would visit hospitals and would trained the doctors against
the disease.
He said that the massive load shedding is a big joke with the
efforts of Punjab government against dengue, adding that he records
severe protest against the issue and request to prime minister for
immediately taking notice against the electricity load shedding because
the load shedding is creating hurdles in the efforts to overcome the
disease.
He said in daily meetings it is being told that machines are being
gutted in hospitals due to the load shedding, adding that the Punjab
government would leave no stone unturned to overcome the dengue virus.
He said that the whole nation would have to play its due role in efforts to overcome the dengue fever.
He questioned that weather the lives of the people have become so
cheaper that the electricity is not available to save the lives of the
dengue patients, adding that the industry and agriculture of the
country already have been destroyed due to load shedding of electricity
and now by doing massive load shedding the patients are being died.
He said that all the people of the society including doctors,
nurses, paramedical staff, young doctors, municipal staff, teachers,
laborers, students, politicians, businessmen and all walks of the life
should have to perform their due role to overcome the epidemic. SANA
