At least 14 people were injured while four shops and several vehicles
were destroyed in bomb explosion in Rampura market area of Peshawar
here on Thursday. Injured people have been shifted immediately to Lady
Reading Hospital out of them three injured persons are said to be in
critical condition.
In charge bomb disposal squad AIG Shafqat Ullah Malik told the media
that explosion were took place in Gala Mandi and explosive was hidden in
cooking oil teen, adding that three kilogram explosive material were
used in this incident but the explosive used in this incident was not of
good quality, bomb disposal squad has defused nearly 650 IEDz that was
of good quality, he added.
Meanwhile he requested the people to inform the police when they see
suspected thing around them, so that our teams would defuse them.
On the other hand, police has tightened the security at entry and exit points of Peshawar city and started search operation. SANA
