PESHAWAR: The Malaysian Embassy in Islamabad has confirmed to Peshawar Police that the arrested persons are not diplomats.
According
to details, few days earlier Chamkni Police arrested five persons near
Motorway toll plaza. Upon investigation by police, they said that they
are diplomats in the Embassy of Malaysia in Islambad.
Later,
when Peshawar Police contacted the authorities of Malaysian Embassy,
they said that all the arrested men are not diplomats and the embassy
has no concern with them.
After the confirmation of the Embassy, police lodged a case against the arrested persons. Online
