Dialogue
is the best solution for resolving the lingering dispute of Kashmir
pending between Pakistan and India.Talking to a private television
channel, General (Retd) Ahsan ul Haq, the former Chief of ISI said that
Kashmir is a disputed matter which must be resolved through dialogue
and for this, both countries including Pakistan and India should
continue talks and discussions.He said that there is a need to review
the relations with India on the issue of Kashmir.“Pakistan wants
peaceful relations with India and the Army of this country always
supported the initiatives,” he said.
Replying to a question regarding the security of
Pakistan’s nuclear assets, he said that concerned authorities are fully
capable to protect and secure the system.
To another question, he said that US and Europe had concerns and reservations over the nuclear program of Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan nuclear assets are in safe hands and fully protected and no one can dare to touch it.
