Altaf apologises, appeals to all to help maintain virtues of tolerance, forbearance, peace

LONDON: MQM leader Altaf Hussain has appealed to all including MQM, Mohajjar Qaumi Movement and other elements to help maintain virtues of tolerance, discipline and forbearance, and remain peaceful.
In a video message, telecast live for masses on Thursday, the MQM leader clarified his earlier directives to masses of collecting a month’s ration, because of continuous forays of terrorists elements on Qasba Colony from Katti Pehari, and residents there had become restricted to their houses, causing a possible famine situation.

He said that situation had been increased to areas like Sarjani Town, where homes were attacked, torched and people slaughtered, while more than 150 motorbikes of employees of Ahsanabad’s Afroze textile mill were ruthlessly vandalized, as shown on videotape, by miscreants.
He also thanked God Almighty that Rangers reached the threatened areas in time to ward of any unwonted situation; and now that Rangers was taking action against these miscreants, people should have faith and trust in God Almighty, and also expressed his deep gratitude for all Rangers personnel for their timely intervention.
He also appealed to all segments of the Metropolis to display an attitude of brotherhood, harmony and peace and join hands towards maintaining peace harmony and brotherhood in the embattled Metropolis of Pakistan.
Altaf Hussain also hoped that Rangers would also be able to reach other troubled areas of Karachi, and help out embattled citizens to safety, and protection. Online
