BAJAUR AGENCY: Two civilians were killed and five injured in
Bandaghay village when six mortars were fired from Afghanistan side
Thursday evening.
This was another incident of unprovoked
firing by Afghan forces in last three days. Earlier on July 19,
Tuesday, mortar shells and artillery fired from Afghanistan killed four
Pakistani paramilitary troops in South Waziristan. Thursday’s attack
was the latest in a spate of cross-border attacks that have raised
tensions between Kabul and Islamabad. Online
