Opposition MNAs see govt failing on all fronts

ISLAMABAD: Opposition benches in National Assembly (NA) while describing rampant corruption, energy crisis and lawlessness as utter failure of government have said rulers have no vision to address the problems facing the people.

PML-N legislator Khawaja Asif said federation of Pakistan had become hide out of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats and corruption of billion of rupees was being committed in public entities but no action was being taken against any one.
As many as 750 million rupees were being paid to Rental power plant at Karachi sea coast but not a single unit electricity was being produced, he alleged. Government was indulged in loot and plunder spree and was ruining all national institutions, he charged. Executive was pursuing confrontational path with Supreme Court (SC), he regretted. If constitutional borders of the courts were not respected then constitutional infrastructure would stand destroyed, he cautioned.
Billion of rupees were plundered in NICLC and those who used to dub murderers each other had become united to unleash loot and plunder spree, he charged. Government had crossed all the limits of corruption, he added.
Country was plunged in darkness but the government was minting money rather than bringing load shedding to end, he accused. Government had made corridors of power mean of plundering, he stated. People had lost trust on parliament and politicians had become synonymous with abusive language, he added.
Steps taken by government during AJK polls are trailer of upcoming general elections and rulers evil designs have been exposed during these elections, he said.
MQM deputy parliamentary leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said voice of opposition leaders could not be muffled. Government resorted to use of blind force against its allies, he said. No one has won and no one has met defeat in AJK polls but only Kashmir cause has been defeated in these elections, he held.
Polls in AJK be held afresh and people of Kashmir be given opportunity to elect their representatives, he demanded.
Blood carnage continued for five days in Karachi, he said adding it was but declared clash between MQM and ANP, Haider Abbas Rizvi said. Mujajirs and Pakhtoons were killed in this incident, he said. On the other hand firing continued from across the Katti hills, he alleged.
He said the second largest industrial city Faisalabad had plunged into darkness due to load shedding and 22 hours long load shedding was continuing in Balochistan. Online
