Wikileaks: Atomic assets of Pakistan are in safe hands

Fresh Wikileaks disclosed that Al-Qaeda cannot reach to the atomic assets of Pakistan and Pakistan’s atomic assets are save due to civil and military leadership command.

American ambassador in Pakistan N W Peterson wrote a letter to Washington in 2008 and according to letter, former Director General of Strategic and Planning General Khalid Qadwai told Admiral Mike Mullen that any single person is not controlling the atomic assets of Pakistan and military and civilian leadership has affective control.
According to documents, that if militants won general elections with heavy mandate and come into power, law and order situation become out of control and security personnel refuse to obey the orders then militants can touched the atomic assets. However, popularity of political parties in the masses would not allow militants to come in the power.
It is stated in the documents that military officers are trained on professional basis as they belong to good families so there is no chance of insurgency in the country, adding that law, order situation is under control, and it is impossible for militants to asses the atomic assets. SANA
