Over 82 per cent voters of a poll have
rejected the Pakistan Government's budget for the fiscal year 2011-12,
saying they do not think it would provide relief to the masses.
The poll was conducted on the website of The News, and votes were cast by 11:00pm on Friday.In the poll, the people were asked: "Do you think the new budget would provide some relief to the people?"
About 82.08 percent (11,192) voters replied in negative, saying that they felt the Pakistan Government's federal budget, which was tabled in the National assembly on Friday, would fail to provide relief to the people.
Only 13.44 per cent (1,833) voters gave an affirmative response to the question, while 4.47 per cent (610) voters said they did not know whether the budget would provide relief to the people or not. (ANI)
