Mian Raza Rabbani has supported the stance of united opposition parties that the America continuously contempt of the Pakistani parliament.
He said that to review the situation the meeting of national
security committee would be held in next week. The joint opposition has
asked the government to make efforts for stopping the drone attacks,
according the resolution of parliament stop the supply line of NATO and
review the relation with America.
The united opposition said that the silence of the government shows
that the government is involved in the issues. The Leader of the
Opposition Maulana Abdul Gaffoor Haidri said that in the drone attack
of Thursday killed a driver Akram Shah, the owner of a medical store
Tariq, a student and a man from tribal area and many people were also
injured.
He said that about these issues the in-camera joint sitting of the
parliament had held and political and military leadership passed a
resolution. According the resolution the government should make
arrangements to stop the drone attacks and review the relationship with
America.
If the government had implemented that resolution, the situation
should be different today. He said if the area of FATA handover to
America. The government has to answer it and if the government shows it
in-competency, then the people would come on the roads.
He said that it is the responsibility of the military and the
security agencies to protect the nation; are they sleeping yet or they
allow the America for drone attacks. Government should talk with
America state forwardly, he added.
Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Ishaq Dar said
that it is written in the joint resolution that the government should
stop the NATO supply line and if the government didn’t implement this
resolution, it would be the content of the both houses of the
parliament.
The resolution about the Abbottabad operation also didn’t fulfilled,
adding that Maulana Abdul Gaffoor should advise Maulana Fazalur Rehman
because he said that the commission would increase the problems. He
said that the for setting up the commission on the murder of Saleem
Shahzad the government had not consulted Chief Justice of Pakistan,
that’s why Justice Saqib Nisar refused to head the commission.
Professor Khurshid Ahmad parliamentary leader of Jamat-e-Islami said
that after 2008 the drone attacks increased ten times but the
government didn’t make arrangements to stop these attacks. It killed 10
to 50 people in attack; government should make arrangements for
stopping these attacks, adding that the government should tell the
truth to the nation.
Leader of the JUI Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan said that the military
leadership announced the success in the operations in Swat and Malakand
and again the army covered these divisions and military is sitting in
