National Assembly approves 77 demands for grants

The National Assembly approved seventy-seven demands for grants worth over two trillion rupees relating to different Ministries and Divisions of the federal government for the next financial year.

No cut motions were moved by the opposition on these demands for grants.
The demands for grants jointly moved by Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar include Commerce Division, Defence Production, Economic Affairs, Statistics, Finance Division and its affiliated Departments, Pakistan Mint, National Savings, Higher Education Commission, Revenue Division and its allied departments, Planning and Development Division, Housing and Works, Civil Works and its affiliated departments, Human Rights Division, Industries and Production Division and its allied departments, Information Technology and Telecommunications, Inter Provinicial Coordination, Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Narcotics Control, National Assembly, the Senate, Overseas Pakistanis Division, Ports and Shipping, Postal Services and affiliated departments, privatization Division, Pakistan Railways, Scientific and Technological Research Division, States and Frontier Regions and Textile Industry.
