Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said
that Pak-India political dialogues is necessary to solve the Kashmir
dispute and political leadership of both countries should play vital
role to enhance the dialogues and leadership’s role can bring effective
results.
In a meeting with Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Maulana
Fazalur Rehman in Punjab house, Nawaz Sharif accepted the invitation
for participating in All Parties Kashmir Conference going to be held in
July and he demanded that parliament should be taken into confidence
about the Kashmir policy.
Sources told that Nawaz Sharif agreed the proposal that
parliamentary efforts should be make effective to highlight the Kashmir
dispute and committee on Kashmir should be strengthened to gain the
international community support on the issue.
The performance of Parliamentary Kashmir Committee, role of
political leadership in Kashmir dispute, political situation of the
country and matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting
and demand was made to take parliament into confidence about every
development in the matter.
Both leaders of the country said that political leadership should
play an important role for the better Pak–India relations and in the
presence of atomic power; any country cannot afford any adventure.
Fazalur Rehman informed Nawaz Sharif that in the next phase
regarding the Kashmir conference he will meet Prime Minister Syed
Yousuf Raza Gilani, Chairman Senate Farooq H Neak, Speaker of National
Assembly Fahmida Mirza and other leaders of Azad Kashmir. SANA
