Prime
Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the country needs
political stability in order to ensure socio-economic development of
the masses. He
said that the external challenges facing the country also require that
political forces across party divide craft consensus and put up a
united front against these challenges.
The Prime Minister expressed these
views while talking to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, head of PML-Q, who
called at him at the PM House this evening.
The Prime Minister said that the government tried to present a balanced budget in tight economic conditions. He said that it would welcome suggestions from the opposition parties.
