ISLAMABAD :
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday approved the pay package for
the employees of Federal Judicial Academy to bring them at par with the
employees of Supreme Court of Pakistan.Special Judicial Allowance
equal to three times of initial substantive pay has been announced for the
employees from BS-1 to 22, while the officers in BS-22 scale will get allowance
at the rate of 45 percent of the running basic pay.The pay package for other
scales includes BS-19-21 Rs.21,000, BS-18 Rs. 18,000, BS-17 Rs. 15,000, BS-07-17
Rs. 9,000 and BS-01-06 Rs. 6,000.
The car allowance for
officers in BS-19 and above has been announced as Rs. 7,000, for BS-18 Rs. 6,000
and for BS-17 Rs. 5,000.
Earlier the 34th Meeting of the Board of Governors, including Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs (Vice Chairman), Chief Justices of the five High Courts, Attorney General for Pakistan, Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Secretary Planning and chaired by the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, approved the pay package of the Federal Judicial Academy.
The pay package will be met from the budget of the Federal Judicial Academy and in case of deficiency a request for supplementary grant can be made. APP
