Pakistan urges world community use dialogue for mutual harmonious relations: PM Gilani

Suzhou, China : Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani urged world community to use dialogue for mutual harmonious relationship adding cultural and civilization contacts could do wonders in ensuring global peace.

He was addressing at first biannual meeting of World Cultural Forum on “Dialogue & Cooperation for World Harmony & Common Development”, here Wednesday coinciding with 60 years of establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Pakistan. It is being attended by 500 participants from across the world including political leaders, intellectuals, cultural figures.
He asked world leaders to use softer tool of cultural contacts to minimize distances. He spoke of “evergreen friendship between Pakistan and China and their people benefited from rich civilization interactions spanning several millenniums between Indus Valley, Gandhara and Chinese civilization. Amalgam is not only beautiful but strong, precious. Themes of harmony resonate and form national ethosof people of both countries.”
Gilani said Pakistan, China being close friends, good neighbours enjoy all-weather friendship deeply rooted in hearts and minds of their people. “We admire accomplishments of great Chinese nation. World is today witnessing renaissance of ancient, glorious Chinese civilization. This is evident in art, crafts, literature, science, technology and multiple disciplines. I have no doubt Chinese sagacity andthought will have profound beneficial impact on mankind as a whole. We are happy to see China shape 21st Century world.”  Chinese State Councillor Ms Liu Yandong said removing misunderstandings among nations, countries, ethnic groups was need of hour. She said beautiful cultures were common wealth of mankind and can be used to bring people with differences together for better world. PPI
