Everything of country put at stake by rulers: Nawaz Sharif

HYDERABAD : Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that everything of the including its economy and sovereignty have been put at stake by the rulers, adding that PML-N would safeguard the sovereignty of the country at every cost.

Addressing a press conference at the residence of Tarraqi Pasand Party Chief Dr Daqir Magsi, Nawaz Sharif said that his first government was dissolved by a president while an army general took over his second government and he was not allowed to complete both of his tenures.
He said that the country was progressing at that time and Indian prime minister himself visited Pakistan and India was ready to solve the problems with Pakistan through dialogue process.
He said that the inquiry commission into the Abbottabad incident should be set up immediately, adding that the responsible persons should be punished after the completion of the inquiry.
He said that the political principles were violated by the present government while making alliance with PML-Q as both parties had leveled serious allegations against each other even late Benazir Bhutto had named Pervez Elahi as her killer in an e-mail to a US journalist.
He questioned that where we are taking the politics of the country, adding that this act would further malign the politics of the country.
He said that we are working for the upholding of fair politics in the country, adding that certainly we would succeed in this purpose.
He said the political parties, which accused each other in the near past, were now coalition partners.

He said that if General Musharraf did not intervene in their government today conditions of the country present different image because Pakistan was getting strong economically and defensively.
He said that the judges who validated the acts of Musharraf are traitors and should be punished, adding that the incumbent Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has compensated his deeds by delivering right kind of judgments.
He said that Musharraf and President Zardari were involved to disqualify us but today they are doing nothing for economic prosperity of the country.
He said that the yellow-cab scheme and projects like motorway, Gwadar Sea Port and Costal Highways had been started during his tenure. He said there was no shortage of electricity and gas during his government and the country was heading towards prosperity, but his governments were ousted.
Nawaz said that he launched various development projects during the office and that he was trying to change the lot of the poor in the country.
The PML-N chief said that Banazir Bhutto was martyred four years ago, but her killers were still to be arrested. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari did not fulfill his promise and had failed to arrest Benazir’s killers.
He said that it would have been the fist priority of the present government to arrest the killers of BB but no progress have been made yet in this regard, adding that he would arrest the killers of BB after coming into power. 
He said that in their regime, every province of the country was part of development but today load shedding is disturbing entire country.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said that all those judge and generals, who had collaborated with Pervez Musharraf are traitors, adding that not only the generals but the judges also would be herded to the docks.
He said that Pakistan’s economy and sovereignty are at stake and it is over sixty years we have not left stretching our hand, we will not allow the sell out of the sovereignty of Pakistan.
He said that we are the nation with 63 years of our independence but we are still begging from other countries and organizations to run our country system.
He said that if joint resolution of parliament is not implemented in its true spirit then it would be a serious matter.
He said that in both of his power stints ended before completion of the term, first by the president and secondly by the general. He said that
Musharraf terminated the government and made him hijacker.
He said that Musharraf and Zardari had the hands in making him ineligible, the government was at odds with every organizations including the judiciary had also taken a fight with the Punjab government Governor Rule was imposed and even today the constitution and the law were run down.
He said that he was not against the formation of new provinces in the country but the new provinces should be made for administrative purpose, adding that the provinces should be set up where ever they needed.
Replying a question, he said that he or his party does not have personal differences with MQM but there are some concerns about their policies because now they are talking about the peace in Balochistan and it could not be achieved until the arrest of the killers of Nawab Akbar Bugti.
He said there is some incidents which MQM should answers like incident of 12 May when lawyers were burnt to death and target killing incidents in Karachi.
They should answer about the arrests of responsible for destroying the peace of the city and why MQM supported Musharraf, who was a dictator, adding that does they asked Musharraf about the killing of Nawab Akber Bugti when they were in government with him.
He said that once Karachi was a peaceful city but today it is facing worst of its time in the history related to peace because inquiry commission were never allowed to conduct impartial inquires about the sabotage of peace.
He said that Cameron Munter met him in a friendly environment where he conveyed the sentiments of the masses about drone attacks, adding that Munter said that he will inform his government about these sentiments of Pakistanis.
Earlier on Nawaz Shahrif met with Chief of People’s Movement Rasool Bux Palijio and discussed important issues with him in the presence of party members
Talking to media after holding meeting with Palejo, Nawaz Sharif said that nationalism is a good thing, adding that investigations for the investigations that during the floods who break the safety brinks to save their houses.
He said that investigations should be conducted to know about the people, who break the safety brinks to save their houses because their this activity destroyed the poor people’s crops and make them homeless.
He said that he is meeting with different people for the betterment of country in political, economical and social sectors and would not allow anyone to destroy the dreams and rights of masses.
He said that to stop the drone attacks in the country parliament resolution should be implemented.
On the occasion, Rasool Bux Palijio said that we will collectively make efforts to decrease the problems of Pakistan and will send the message to world that Pakistani masses are aware and united.
He thanked the Main Nawaz Sharif for taking interests in problems of Karachi and other issues of the masses. President Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Sindh Syed Ghous Ali Shah, Saleem Zia, Khawja Saad Rafique, Senator Pervaz Rashid and other party leaders were present in the meeting. SANA
