Islamabad : Pakistan and India and Pakistan will on Wednesday begin four-day talks here on Wullar barrage-Tulbul navigation project in Occupied Kashmir
as part of bilateral dialogue process that was revived early this year after a two-year gap in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.Indian side will be led by Water Resources Secretary Dhruv Vijai Singh while Water & Power Secretary Javed Iqbal head Pakistan team.
India started work on Tulbul navigation project at the mouth of Wullar lake in Held Kashmir in 1985. The project was stopped after Pakistan complained that it violated the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960. Pakistan says the project could be used by India to control the flow of Jhelum river. PPI
