ISLAMABAD: The Parliamentary Committee on National Security would take a
detailed and in-depth briefing on the US operation in Abbottabad from ISI,
Ministry of Defense in the Parliament House on Wednesday (today).
The Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting will be presided
over by senator Raza Rabbani.
Head of the ISI and officials of the Defense Ministry will give a methodical
briefing concerning Abbotabad operation on Wednesday (today).
The issues relating to killing of OBL, situation arising from it, strong
criticism on Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan by foreign media and other thorny
issues will come under discussion.
On Monday foreign office officials had briefed the committee on the OBL
operation however the committee had expressed its non-confidence over the
briefing given by Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and had summoned the officials
