Washington : The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) spy chief would remain stationed at Pakistan despite an apparent attempt by local media to leak his identity, the US officials have revealed.
One of the US officials laid stress on the need to have CIA operative stationed in Pakistan.
“The current CIA station chief is a true pro, someone who knows how to work well with foreign partners and is looking to strengthen cooperation with Pakistani intelligence,” one of the US officials told The Dawn.
The US denounced the leak of CIA’s identity as an attempt to divert attention from its demands to provide information of the support system for Bin Laden. (ANI)
