Mansoor Ijaz, the main character behind memogate scandal, has expressed concerns at being summoned by a parliamentary committee. But he said he is not going to be deterred by threats.
Mansoor Ijaz will appear before the judicial commission on January 24
two days before he is being summoned by the parliamentary committee on
Jan 26.
“I will go to Pakistan at every cost,” he said.
After securing the Pakistani visa, Ijaz said he would not reveal the date of his departure to Pakistan due to security reasons.
“I will appear before the commission and explain the truth about Hussain Haqqani,” he said.
He also claimed that he had played a key role in the return of Benazir Bhutto to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said nobody needs to be worried about Ijaz security.
Ijaz, he said, will have to answer three questions to Pakistani nation on his arrival. SANA
